For up to 5 users the TigerCube software is totally free. If more than five users are needed there are two types of licence available depending that makes most sense for you and your business.
Two distinct types of licences exist, a Monthly Subscription Licence and a Standard Licence. The TigerCube Monthly subscription licence provides ongoing updates for the lifetime of a subscription. It is a low fee per user, with prices starting from $10/month.
The standard licence is a one off fee per user, with prices as low as $165, that gives access to updates for the lifetime of a version, approximately 12 months. If you purchase this licence within 3 months of a new version release you are automatically entitled to a version update when available.
If you have moderate computer skills TigerCube will be simple to install. Download the CD image, burn to CD using your favourite software. With your new CD simply run the installer on the chosen machine and you will have a TigerCube up and running in around 15 minutes.
Be sure to read the user manual before starting and be aware installing TigerCube will wipe all data from the target computer.
The system has been designed to be simple to install and administer. For home and SME use very little support will be required and following the instructions in the user manual should have you up and running in no time at all. However, for larger installs that may have complex requirements we are happy to provide everything from ongoing support contracts to installation support. TigerCube is supported by a user community and by commercial support contracts. An ever growing amount of information is available via the discussion forums and knowledge base, indeed many of your questions will be answered here, however if you prefer to take a hands-off approach then visit our direct support section of the website and find out more about our support contract offerings.
As new members of staff join your business you can simply add new licences to your TigerCube as required, allowing the system to grow along side your business, as and when you want it to. If you need to upgrade or replace your hardware in future to expand your system, don't worry, the licences will still be valid for the version you installed.
TigerCube supports from one to many thousands of users by design, however, depending on your usage requirements different hardware will be appropriate.
TigerCube automatically downloads any available updates daily. Updates fall into two distinct categories, those that will be automatically installed (anti-virus definitions and content filtering blacklists) and those that will require your approval before installing (system enhancements and security updates).
If a system update is available the TigerCube administrator will be notified by email informing them of the updates, their priority and any release notes. Installing the update is a simple matter of logging into the TigerGUI administrative interface, navigating to releases and updates and selecting the appropriate update to install.
